The Constantine earring was cast from an original bronze Roman coin and has a quartz crystal drop suspended from it.
The coin is made from gold plated Sterling silver, the edges and surfaces of the coin are beautifully worn by the passage of time. The plating is an extra thick coating of 3 microns of 18 carat gold to ensure durability and long lasting wear.
These stud earrings measure 2cm x 4cm. One side of the coin shows the head of Emperor Constantine most famous for his conversion to Christianity. On the reverse there is Sol Invictus or "unconquered sun", the God and patron of soldiers.
