Our Story

Deborah Blyth is a London-based jewellery designer. Her passion for the arts and love of nature combine to influence her style and process, which is largely inspired by the beauty that lies in organic forms and natural imperfections.

From childhood days spent by the sea, Deborah has always found refuge in the restorative power of water. Seeking out opportunities to swim in the wild, whether it be seas, rivers or London’s ponds, it is in the water where Deborah finds calm and where many of her greatest ideas are born.

Each piece of jewellery is crafted from start to finish within a small area of North London. Through the ancient technique of lost wax casting, Deborah breathes life into her designs, while meticulous stone setting takes place in nearby Hatton Garden. With a deep rooted commitment to sustainability, Deborah uses 100% recycled silver and gold in her pieces; and her diamonds, pearls and gemstones are ethically sourced from a small network of trusted suppliers.

Many pieces are embellished with baroque pearls and are characterised by the fluid sensuality of textured gold and semi-precious stones. Deborah’s designs offer a touch of everyday luxury, effortlessly transitioning from day until night and is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of quality in every piece she creates.

As a true lover of the arts, Deborah draws inspiration from various forms of creativity, leading her to expand her vision into sculptural “objets,” which felt like a natural progression from jewellery design. Finding solace at home during the tranquil moments of lockdown, she found the perfect opportunity to weave beauty and practicality into a new collection of functional art— practical pieces that could elevate the ordinary, infusing a sense of luxury into daily life.

As part of her homewares collection, Deborah designs candleholders that embody molten forms, appearing as if they are an extension of the candle’s own drip. She also creates small dishes, versatile enough to hold anything from condiments to cufflinks. Crafted from brass and elegantly plated in 18-carat gold, these tactile pieces are both simple and impactful, reflecting a timeless elegance that lingers in any space.
